NY: Pynson Printers, 1937. Kent, Rockwell. 16mo. 84pp, frenchfold. One of 1,250 copies, signed by Kent. With 84 designs by the famed illustrator, including one at the colophon, many of which have color additions and many still which exhibit Kent's emblematic transcendent modernism. Among the bookplates are those for private collectors, including Louis Untermeyer and Billie and Stanley Marcus, as well as for a number of institutions, some as eminent as the Rare Book Division of the Library of Congress. A compendium just as delightful as its predecessor, published by Pynson in 1929. Bound in full orange cloth with gilt titling over boards. Light toning at edges of boards, else near fine in near fine dust wrapper. Prospectus laid in.
