Unpaginated, illustrated throughout. Folio, half-calf over paper covered boards. River Forest, Illinois: Auvergne Press, 1896. A splendid and rare Wright incunable. Although Wright did not write the text, he considered it to be his first book since he designed the page decorations. The book also contains a pamphlet attached to the front endpaper containing twelve collotypes of dried weeds from photographs made by Wright. There is some wear to the binding and it has been rebacked, but a desirable object nonetheless. (Inventory #: 171948)
