Issued shortly after the murder suicide by co-founder of the Press, Harry Crosby, which was then carried on by his wife, Caresse. 4to. 27 by 23 cm. Spine darkened, with touch of this darkening spilling over to the front cover. Fore-edge has a few light fox marks, and some touch edge of leaf front. Otherwise clean, crisp, a beautiful copy, housed now in a modern clamshell case which protects this book the more vulnerable because of its having a wrap cover. (Inventory #: 007625)
