Octavo. 269pp. Top corners of boards and crown bumped else fine in modestly worn, very good or better dust jacket with corresponding bumping that has caused a tiny tear at the top of the lower fold. Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Donald Justice's copy, Signed by Haines on the title page and with a TLS to Justice laid in, sending the book along. Haines writes that he was visiting poet Dana Gioia and, while there, read an interview with Justice in *The American Poetry Review* and was impressed by it, especially Justice's remarks on there being too many writing (truncated)
