Large armorial bookplate on coated front pastedown and both an owner and gift inscription on the half-title. Binding cocked and worn through at the corners and spine ends with modest soil and a lightly tanned spine, front fly with two short tears, first few pages modestly foxed and frontispiece tissue guard foxed with some creasing, one plate rather neatly colored with crayon, good or better.
