Comprising the title-page, text, justification and reproductions, number 681 of 2000 copies from the edition of 2226, on Marais wove. Printed wrappers; grey cloth chemise and slipcase. Owner's name on inner wrapper, her labels on slipcase (that also has a few areas of peeling). The Edward Tufte copy. This work reproduces the marginal drawings made by Picasso in 1942 in the copy of the illustrated Buffon 'Histoire Naturelle' that he had given to his mistress, Dora Maar.
