Tthe "Natural Atlas" was a serial publication released during the mid 19th century featuring large, hand-colored lithographs of various animals, including birds, mammals, reptiles and more. Includes watermark that reads J WHATMAN. Minimal foxing and toning. Rare. Georg August Goldfuss (1782-1848) was a German paleontologist, botanist, and zoologist.
