[Buffalo, NY]: Strike Committee, 1940. 8.5x11 inch mimeographed handbill, "Buffalo, Aug. 1940" penned at bottom, otherwise very good. "Fellow workers, Conditions in the Statler Restaurant have become well-nigh intolerable, and cry out to be remedied. What with coolie wages, long hours and inferior food, we are little better than chattel-slaves." Asks the reader to join a strike for better wages, despite the owner's threat to shut down the restaurant. (Inventory #: 321604)
