[Endicott, NY]: Triple Cities Civic and Workers Committee, 1939. Approximately 8.5x15 inch broadside, horizontal crease, penciled notes at bottom stating "Endicott-Johnson Company Union defense. Binghamton, Johnson City and Endicott, NY. Dec. 1939." In response to an AFL critique of the company's management, pours effusive praise on George F. Johnson as a magnanimous contributor to the community, donor of shows to children, subsidizer of concerts in community parks, etc. "Common decency is excuse enough for every loyal E.J. worker - to defend a friend, a counselor, an employer and man of the high caliber of integrity and citizenship of George F.
