Nice copy of 120 Days of Sodom in the first Traveller’s Companion edition from the Olympia Press, the English version of Sade’s notorious work, composed while he was imprisoned in the Bastille and thought by the author to have been lost. The manuscript was in fact preserved, and (truncated) was published at the turn of the twentieth century. The manuscript scroll, some twelve meters in length, is now at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris.
