In a red cloth folding box with (truncated) morocco spines lettered in gilt and with black morocco labels on the front. Originally published as part of the entire set (Lives and Works of the English Poets) of 68 volumes 1779-81, viz. Works 56 vols., Prefaces 10 vols.; Index, 2 vols. This copy with the terminal advertisement leaf in volume IV for the entire set of 68 volumes. There was also a Dublin edition in 3 volumes, 1781.
