Thompson in Charlestown regarding a quarrel which resulted in charges of Assault and Battery against the defendant John Barney. The deposition provides details of the assault and includes questions and answers from the plaintiff's attorney and the defendant's attorney to the defendant John Barney. The deposition took place April 12th, 1814. The signatures of John H Thompson and James McCampbell are at the end of the deposition. Indiana became a State in 1816. (Inventory (truncated)
