Original wraps rebound in recent brown buckram covered boards with title label on the spine. White end papers added in front and in back. Contemporary inscription of "James Wardlaw 1812" written top of the title page and his name written at the bottom edge of the title page. Contemporary signature "J. S.? Glenn" also written twice on the title page. Tissue repair to the title page. Page vi of the index has creasing and and a small closed edge tear. On this page includes James Wardlaw's name and "Georgia Oglethorpe County" inscription. (truncated) Moderate to heavy toning and foxing to the text.

Contents include Slavery and Native American laws including an Act - "Amendatory and revisory of an act passed the 15th day of December, 1818, to dispose of and distribute the late cession of land obtained from the Creek and Cherokee Nations of Indians, by the United States, in the several treaties..." Other acts include tax, court circuits, relief acts, business, government positions, infrastructure, incorporation of the Sunbury Female Asylum, county dividing lines, education, academies, crime, etc. Slavery acts include "An Act to Compensate the collector of Brunswick, for his exertions in seizing and delivering up to the state, certain Africans illegally introduced (these Africans were then sold to benefit the collector).
