While Justin Brooks in Stephen King: A Primary Bibliography claims the exact number of Author Copies has not been determined, online sources (Stephen King Collector) claim there were 15 copies marked as such, with 10 going to King and the remaining 5 going to his agent. Regardless, copies marked "Author's Copy" are indeed very scarce. 544 pp. Bound in publisher's red cloth with silver lettering. Near Fine with bumped top right corner, in a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light rubbing and light wear, in a Near Fine slipcase with light edge wear and bumped corner. Brooks A20.3c.
