A memo and record book for the year 1860-1861, advertising "fancy goods" sold by Cyrus J. Lawrence, a wholesale dealer of products such as "Combs, brushes, buttons, threads, jewelry, perfumery, musical instruments, stationery, &c." (title-page). The first approx. 100 pages is a printed inventory of the merchant, followed by approx. 100 lined pages for recording memos, notes, and invoices, and a full listing of the seller's goods for sale, ranging from tortoise shell combs to gold plated jewelry. This copy has not been recorded in. Single vol. (5.5" by 3.5"), approx. 200 printed and blank lined pages, bound in original flexible dark blue leather covers, with small pocket on one cover stamped in gold "Railroad tickets
