[WWII] Official 1945 U.S. army map of the Obersalzberg nazi compound. Measures 8" x 11.75". These maps were published and distributed by the U.S. army prior to American occupation so soldiers could navigate the territory, hence the inaccuracies of the layout as they were not yet on the ground. The buildings include Berghof, or, Hitler's house, SS barracks, Bormann and Goring's house, the directions toward Mount Kehlstein, where the infamous "Eagle's Nest" still resides, and much more. Today, mostly ruins remain, as many of these buildings were severely damaged in a Royal Air Force bombing attack on 25 April 1945, five days before Hitler's death. With it's (truncated)
