[African American Soldiers] Photo archive of 24 photos African American soldiers in the 1960s in Korea and Europe. Original Black and white silver gelatin photographs primarily measuring 4" x 3". Circa 1960s. At least half of the photos appear to be from Korea, based out of Camp Kaiser and the surrounding area, which was a military compound of low cinder block buildings and Quonset huts some 60 miles north of Seoul and about 30 miles from the North Korean artillery arrayed along their side of the Demilitarized Zone. Eight of the photos are captioned, ex: "Camp Kaiser", "Korean Home", "Village", "CO Area". Two photos show a European street during a parade, (truncated)
