This first printing of The Ballad of Lemon & Crow, a Southern Gothic and medieval English ballad-inspired tale about three generations of neighbors of Native American, European, African, and Vietnamese descent in rural Oklahoma, is letterpress printed on all-cotton Ruysdael paper, with illustrations, included 6 collages made from 19th century wood engravings, by Bruce Conner and, in his style, by anonymous artists, including publisher Andrew Hoyem, printed on mould-made T. H. Saunders buff loan paper, in an edition limited to 300 numbered (truncated) and 26 lettered copies, this being number 157, with each copy signed by author Glenn Todd and artist Bruce Conner.

Accompanied by the publisher's prospectus for this title, as well as a slightly smudged invitation to the Arion Press reception celebrating its publication.
