A few scratches and tiny stains to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities, a few nicks to board edges and spine, corners bumped and somewhat worn. Moderate toning to interior, faint dampstaining to fore-edges of several leaves near rear of text, faint oil stains to a few other leaves. $650. * First edition in English. A popular work during the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries that was held in high regard by Coke, Perkins' Profitable Booke was first published in 1528 and went through numerous editions in both English and Law-French.
