Contemporary blue half morocco, raised bands, spine in gilt-ruled compartments with alternating wreathed "N" or eagle centerpiece, top edge gilt. With two photogravures and facsimile of will as called for, and EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED WITH 48 PLATES, consisting of 43 black & white engravings and five color plates, four of these double-page. With a half-page typewritten description tipped in at front. ◆Spine darkened (with dulling to gilt), joints rather flaked, minor rubbing to extremities, a few plates slightly foxed, other trivial imperfections, but a solid, still very good copy.
