Binding somewhat shaken. Text block has splitting to interior hinges, light age toning, last page of illustration list detached, light gray staining on some forward pages, and tearing to fore edge of some forward pages. Points includes: List of illustrations has page 88 rather than page 87, "was" instead of "saw" on page 57, last 5 in 155 on page 155 set slightly lower than other numbers, Leaf 23 8 pasted under Terminal endpaper, and earliest portrait frontispiece with "Heliotype Printing Co."
