First issue of this edition; a second issue appeared in 2 volumes, with a portrait frontispiece; 8vo, pp. [34], [942]; collating A8 a8 B-3O8; lexicon in double column; contemporary full mottled calf neatly rebacked, preserving the old black morocco label; a very good, sound, and clean copy. With the early ownership signature of Elizabeth Hopkins on the front free endpaper. "This was issued in weekly parts and in 2 volumes" (Fleeman), but he identifies this one-volume edition as the first. This copy contains a half-title (truncated) not called for by Fleeman, which he identifies as properly belonging to the second issue. Neither ESTC or Alston recognize this one-volume octavo.
