The actual reports deal with virtually every major aspect of his military actions. At the end of Vol. I, he lists his entire command, in Vol. II, His letters from Moscow are also fascinating. A very nice set for the collector of the Napoleonic era. Bound in a modern ¾ brown leather over marbled paper covered boards, slightly raised bands gilt, double maroon leather spine labels gilt, compartments stamped in gilt with Napoleonic symbols, endpapers renewed, frontispieces have some scattered foxing, title pages toned, vol. 1 with first few leaves toned but mostly clean. A very good set.
