Bound in a modern ¾ brown leather over marbled paper covered boards, slightly raised bands gilt, double maroon leather spine (truncated) labels gilt, compartments stamped in gilt with Napoleonic symbols, endpapers renewed, frontispieces have some scattered foxing, title pages toned, vol. 1 with first few leaves toned but mostly clean.
