Archive of 8 lobby cards from "Andy Warhol's Frankenstein." Bryanston Pictures: 1974. Each about 14" x 11." The 8 lobby cards show various scenes from the film, some bloody, others campy images. The graphic cult film earned placement in the "Top 100 Horror Films" in a recent poll by Time Out. It seems, Warhol was one of the producers of the film and participated in the cutting stage. The screenwriter is Tonino Guerra, better known as the author of Fellini's Amarcord and Antonioni's Blowup. The director was Paul Morrissey, who emerged from Andy Warhol's Factory, and was also the force who shaped the most important films that have been attributed to Warhol.
