by FARIÑA, Richard
San Francisco: Discovery Bookshop / [Auerhahn Press?], 1966. Unbound. Good. Broadside. Measuring 11½" x 15½", with the right edge untrimmed, as issued. Letterpress printed, likely by the Auerhahn Press. Evenly sunned (save for the very edges on two sides) and with dampstaining along three edges (only touching the text at the very bottom line), still handsome but good only. A poster advertising an "autograph party" for Richard Fariña, celebrating the release of his novel *Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up to Me* at San Francisco's Discovery Bookshop on May 1, 1966. The novel is now considered a classic of 20th Century literature; tragically Fariña died (truncated)
