Coleman spent six years living and working at 131 Prince Street in New York, between 1968 and 1974. Acquired by Coleman in April, 1978, the space was actually composed of two lofts, located on the ground floor and third floors of the building. The lofts were multipurpose, with the first floor serving as a rehearsal space and occasional performance venue, and living quarters for Coleman on the third floor. The (truncated)
