Very Good/Fine. 8vo., 286pp. Sharp Stated First Edition, bound in black cloth with titles in red on spine and title and Crime Club logo on front board. Square and solid with some wear to edges and tips. A few wrinkles to spine cloth. Edges mildly toned as is the red tops-stain. Discoloration on the rear board. Still a very good copy. Gorgeous, though clipped, dustjacket has the barest hint of edge-wear and comes with the scarce promotional band. A touch of rubbing to spine panel. but fresh and bright with no chipping, creases, toning or tears. Remarkably well-preserved. Perhaps warehouse find or file copy or more likely, as it was clipped, the original owner was fastidious and removed the wrapper before reading.
