1853 Savannah, Ga. Receipt from Franklin & Brantley written to Mrs. S. L. Gibson for Molasses and Corn

Paper is of high quality. Receipt is in two parts dated April and June. The first part, written April 23, 1853 records the sale of Molasses and Corn and one other item bringing the total bill to $119.32. The second part is dated June 11th, 1853 and concerns payment for the items. It is signed "Wm Preston" at the bottom. (Inventory #: 28348)
