A fine set bound by Bayntun-Riviere in full red pictorial gilt morocco centrally stamped in gilt....Through the looking Glass with the Rabbit and Alice in Wonderland with the Queen stamped in gilt, edges (truncated) ruled in gilt, raised bands with compartments beautifully decorated and lettered in gilt, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, morocco turn-ins gilt. Both volumes have the original covers bound in at the rear. Set housed together within a felt lined publisher's cloth slipcase with ribbon pulls.
