Anna Beatrix (Lewis) Hildebrand was the wife of African-American Bishop Richard Allen Hildebrand, who was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina (in 1916). He studied at Allen University, Payne Theological School, Boston University and earned a Doctor of Divinity from Wilberforce University. He was a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (president of New York City branch from 1962-1964). An uncommon title. (Inventory #: 334586)
