by [Hayashi, Doris]
Berkeley: California Book Co; UC Book Store, 1941. Pamphlet. [28p.] staplebound mimeographed booklet, 5.5x8.5 inches, with Hayashi's signature and brief course notes penned on the cover. Doris Hayashi, then a student, became known for her work with the Japanese American Evacuation and Resettlement Study as a researcher while she was in the Topaz internment camp. The disruption to her studies meant that she did not receive her diploma until seven decades later, at which time her story received journalistic coverage. (Inventory #: 295443)
