Boston: William Veazie, 1865. This is a limited edition, 19th century printing of one of the key accounts of early New England. Justin Winsor in his Narrative and Critical History of America called this work the first complete description of the flora and fauna of the Middle Atlantic and New England states. Streeter refers to it as, One of the best contemporary English accounts of New Netherland. Streeter II, 635. Howes J-255. Limited to 250 copies. Bound in publisher's brown cloth with gold spine lettering. Light cover wear, with a snag at the top of the backstrip.
