The Latest Book "My Political Trial and Experiences." By Jeremiah A. O'Leary ; "An American with a Backbone.

A tri-fold brochure advertising a newly published book entitled "My Political Trial and Experiences" written by Jeremiah A. O'Leary, who was tried for conspiracy to commit treason under the United States Espionage Act and considered to be an anti-British agitator during WWI. O'Leary, an Irish-American, was a member and leader of a branch of the Sinn Fein, an Irish Political party historically associated with the IRA (Irish Republican Army). At the time, O'Leary's trial was a sensation, this was also due (truncated) to the fact that O'Leary had tried to run, and was caught in Washington. The book is around 600 pgs, containing twenty full page illustrations, and included the "true story of O'Leary's activities", as well as a copy of his personal diary and a biographical sketch by Major Michael A. Kelly. The advertising brochure states that the truth has "been suppressed", and that the trial itself was a "political frame up instigated by American hirelings of the British Government". The front of the brochure features a printed black and white photograph of a portrait of O'Leary. Tri-fold brochure, double sided. OCLC 0 (March 2021). Measures 6.25" x 3.5" (folded), 10.25" x 6.25" (unfolded). The Sinn Fein was founded in 1905 by Arthur Griffith, and is known for its focus on Irish Nationalism and Irish Republicanism. The group is historically associated with the IRA (Irish Republican Army) and was accused by the British government of being involved in a variety of violent uprisings, such as the Easter Rising in 1916. Sinn Fein has always denied such allegations. Throughout the years it has split into various branches, most notably in the 1970s, when it also formally split from the IRA. It is still in existence today as a political party in Ireland. It is currently a republican, left-wing nationalist and secular party, that as of the 2020 election, is the second largest party in the Oireachtas, the parliament of the Republic of Ireland.
