A warm, personal letter of 26 lines from Johnson to Charles Wesley. The letter begins "Dear Dr. Wesley: I have received your communications. My seeming delay in answering this is due to the fact that I have been away on two extended lecture trips. I was especially glad to get your letter about your visit to Texas. No changes in that situation, so far as I know, has taken place since I last wrote you. And I judge it will remain as it is until the report of the special committee (truncated)
