Printed on paper made in Ireland and published by Elizabeth Yeats at the Cuala Press. Front board has early spotting, spine label is nicked with no loss to printing, else a very good copy. Limited to 300 numbered copies. Higgins was born in County Mayo into a Unionist Protestant family. In 1915 his friendship with Austin Clarke nurtured his interest in Gaelic literature and folklore.
