Textured grey paper wrappers with gilt lettering and ruling on the front cover. Published in Hebrew orientation, with pagination from right to left. Modernist typography and design on the front cover and title page. This extremely scarce publication contains the complete Friday night services in the modern German Reform Jewish tradition. Text throughout in Hebrew with German translation. The final six pages contain musical notation for the chants of the evening service, with the words in German or German transliterated from the (truncated) Hebrew underneath. These final six pages are known to have also been issued separately, under the title Gesänge für den Freitagabend-Gottesdienst (Chants for the Friday Evening Service), which is printed on the final page. No.10 in a series of Jewish publications issued by the Liberal Synagogue North, in Berlin.
