Chief among the attractions are the fertility of the region for agriculture and livestock, but the modern amenities and architecture of South Texas towns are also praised extensively. Extensively illustrated with photographic reproductions; the Missouri Pacific connected Brownsville to Houston and Laredo, and therefore had a serious interest in developing (truncated)
