Wallpaper Sample Book. Season 1913.

Cleveland, OH: J.B. Pearce Company, 1913. Book. Very good condition. Hardcover. First Edition. Quarto (4to). Bound volume containing 102 sample sheets of wallpaper, many of which are accompanied by a trim/border piece. The back of each sample is identified with a stamp indicating the Class and a Codeword. There is no title page, but the front cover states that this is the "Season 1913" selection. Laid-in there is a prospectus for "The Success Perforator" which is an electric wallpaper cutting machine, powered by either direct or alternating current. The hardcover binding is moderately worn and soiled, and one of the brass binding fasteners is lacking and (truncated) the other is incomplete, leaving the textblock intact. There is minor wear and the occasional small tear to the sample edges. The wallpaper samples measure just under 12 inches (height) by 8.5 inches, with the binding measuring slightly larger..
