[1920s California State Automobile Association Pamphlets on Roadside Assistance and Other Services]

[San Francisco, 1927. Very good.. Three pamphlets, [24]pp. in total. Two previously folded. Light wear and tanning. Two scarce 1927 pamphlets published by the California State Automobile Association. The first describes the Emergency Road Service (or, "mechanical first aid") provided by the organization to its members, and lists garages across California that participate in the program. The second outlines all of the services available to members of the association, and provides a list of "official" hotels and garages in the state that have contracts with the organization. OCLC locates copies of neither pamphlet. Accompanied by a third pamphlet published (truncated) by AAA in the same year listing the names and addresses of affiliated motor clubs and associations, presumably distributed by the California organization with its own promotional material.
