Beautiful engraving of the cassava plant. A figure at right is harvesting the edible tubers, some of which are being eaten by a dog shown at bottom left. What appears to be a giant cassava tuber resting on the ground is shown behind the tree. Potentially by Giovanni Petroschi (1715-1766), a Jesuit Italian engraver, and cartographer based in Rome, but the publication is not known. (Inventory #: 289078)
