Originally published as part of the entire set (Lives and Works of the English Poets) of 68 volumes 1779-81, viz. Works 56 vols., Prefaces 10 vols.; Index, 2 vols. This copy with the terminal advertisement leaf in volume IV for the entire set of 68 volumes. There (truncated) was also a Dublin edition in 3 volumes, 1781.
