A.L.S., 12 mo. 2 pages, on his personalized card, Peel Cottage, March 10, 1951, in full: "Many thanks for your nice letter - you are very extravagant in buying my [painting] "Molds of Posterity." The life of St. Paul for which I made 4 large watercolors appeared in the American 'Woman's Home Companion' in 1931. I never saw it and only got pull-sheets of two, possibly three, of my companions. Thanks again for your kind appreciation and ... with all good wishes." Boldly signed and in very good condition. Scottish artist and illustrator especially known for his watercolors of women.
