Hanoi: Vietnam Women's Union, 1990. Twenty-nine issues of the staplebound magazine, color covers, black and white internal illustrations. These were folded for mailing, so every issue has a vertical crease. Issues present are 3 and 4 for 1990; 2-4 for 1991; 1 and 4 for 1992; 1-4 for 1993; 1-4 for 1994; 1-4 for 1995; 1, 2 and 4 for 1996; 1 and 4 for 1997; 1-4 for 1998, and a special issue for the 8th National Congress of Vietnamese Women. While the covers often depict traditional ideals of feminine beauty, the contents include a great deal of political material, discussion of woman as workers and students, and reports on economic development in minority (truncated) regions.
